BESPOKE77, the new name for Ceramic Contracts

BESPOKE77 has been involved in the ceramic industry for the past 40 years. Established in 1977, we have cultivated a diverse range of prestigious customers in the food manufacture, retail and restaurant industries such as Harrods, Fortnum and Mason, Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Italian and Cropwell Bishop Stilton. Our products can often be found on the shelves of Waitrose and Sainsbury’s or you may have eaten off our plates, boards and dishes whilst visiting numerous different restaurants including Jamie’s Italian, Prezzo, Bill’s and many others.

Since taking over the reins in 2007 Terry and Barry Grainger have introduced new ranges in glass, terracotta, wood, metals and textiles to compliment the already expansive ceramic side of the business.

We pride ourselves on supplying high quality products at very competitive prices. Our core values include exceptional levels of customer service and partnering with our clients at all stages of the engagement and supply chain. We work very closely with them developing their ideas through to production, including creation of samples and conceiving unique, ingenious packaging solutions.

Barry GraingerDirector
Barry has over 25 years experience working in the ceramics and retail industries. He took over the running of Ceramic Contracts, now BESPOKE77 Ltd from his father in 2008 and successfully runs the expanded organisation with the help of his brother Terry.

Steve King
Steve KingFood Service Business Manager
Steve joined the team in 2014 as an account manager to assist with our growing number of clients. His skills in finding solutions and promoting these to clients have proved a great asset to the business.

He works closely with Barry and the warehouse team to ensure the orders are fulfilled and the clients are kept informed at all stages.

Jonathan Mitchell
Jonathan MitchellRetail Service Business Manager
Jonathan joined the team in 2016. With 15 years’ experience in National Accounts, working with some of the UK’s largest, well known Retail and Trade names. He has a track record of assisting major clients with new products and retail market strategy.

Despite being Northern he is able to communicate effectively with the rest of the team, without the need for a translator.

OPERATIONS / LOGISTICS

Ashley Grinham
Ashley GrinhamOperations Manager
Ashley joined the team in February 2014 and has over 9 years of experience in the hospitality industry, within differing roles up to management level.

Ash is our Operations Manager and his remit includes management of stock levels, order fulfillment and logistics. He works closely with all other members of staff to ensure standards and procedures are maintained and adhered to.

He has a passion for Italian food, panini stickers and fancy dress, but dislikes polystyrene and mint shower gel!

David McTaggart
David McTaggartDirector
David began his career in a top 20 accountancy firm and after 18 years was responsible for the UK technology services. He progressed onto the board of a major IT services organisation where he developed their operations and infrastructure.

David has worked with Terry and Barry for over 25 years and now looks after the operational side of the business.

Sorel Wilson
Sorel WilsonOffice Manager
Sorel Is our newest member of staff, joining in February 2017 and is already a very important member of the team.

With a background in both the hospitality industry and office administration, her role as Office Manager is a vital to keeping things running smoothly and organising the boys in the office!

Sorel works closely with the entire team assisting with daily tasks including supplier liaison and social media comms.

Terry Grainger
Terry GraingerDirector
Terry has 15 years of board level experience within the IT and Electrical sectors. His skills lie primarily within business development and company strategy.

Terry oversees the operational and financial aspect of the business and has a remit to improve efficiencies in all areas of the organisation. He also acts as a Non-Executive Director to Trade Compliance, a disposal/recycling business.

Helen Turner
Helen TurnerFinance Manager
Helen is our Finance Manager. She earnt her stripes at board level in a TV Post Production Company and from many years of working as a freelance company financial consultant. She has helped several small businesses grow to successful major concerns.

Helen now dons her skills for BESPOKE77 as a permanent employee and manages all of the day to day running of our ledgers and helps Terry to deliver the company’s financial strategy.

We specialise in ceramics (all types including terracotta, stoneware and porcelain), wood (pine, oak, beech, maple and acacia) metal (copper, aluminium, brass and cast iron), glass and recently textiles. We have also supplied display boxes for teabags and plastic clasp jars for food stuffs.

What is a short run? 10? 100? 1,000 or 100,000? It all depends on materials so get in touch and let’s see what we can do.

A tough one! This depends on many factors like material, artwork and if we are making an existing item or starting with a drawing. A good guide is 12 weeks from sample to delivery.

Yes we can. Just get in touch via phone or email with size, shape preferred material and estimated volumes and let’s get the ball rolling.

Generally, no we do not but in some specific cases where the tooling is very expensive we have asked for a contribution to be refunded on the initial order.

We use the best suppliers based on your needs and timelines. We have suppliers as close as Buntingford in Hertfordshire and numerous in Europe and as far as China.
